Looking for a carburettor repair kit, or just one replacement part? This range includes both, with listings for kits as well as parts such as gaskets and plungers. Check what the chosen reference includes and which carburettor it is listed for.
“Rebuild kit” can cover different contents from one listing to another. Compare the included-parts details with the components you need; the category name alone does not tell you what is supplied.
Some listings are for a single part, not a collection. Check the item type and pack quantity when weighing up a kit against an individual gasket or plunger.
Confirm the carburettor application
Use your full vehicle details, then read the application notes on the exact listing. A familiar model name by itself may not identify the carburettor or year the part is for.
If the carburettor has been changed, identify the fitted unit before choosing a kit. Keep its make and reference to hand alongside the vehicle details.
Check the contents for your chosen reference. Do not assume jets are included because a listing is called a rebuild kit. If you need jets separately, use carburettor jets and match the exact type and reference to the carburettor.
Does one kit cover every carburettor on the vehicle?
Check how many carburettors the pack is stated to cover. Where a machine has more than one carburettor, confirm the required kit reference and quantity for each; a vehicle application does not establish the number supplied.
Can I reuse the kit reference from a previous repair?
Compare the full reference and current contents with the carburettor now fitted. If the unit or its specification has changed since that repair, confirm the application again before ordering.
Compare the complete model, year and part number before choosing a part.
