Pin down the position and version

Record the full model, year and variant together with front or rear position and any left or right designation. Compare the part reference, mounting arrangement and how it meets the surrounding bodywork. A matching colour or model family is not enough to establish fit.

Check what the bodywork order covers

Confirm whether the listing supplies one section, a pair or a defined set, then check the stated colour and finish. Look in body fittings and hardware for associated fittings, body panels for other covers and panels, or body panels and parts for the wider bodywork group.

Is a mud flap the same as a complete fender?

No. Confirm whether the listed item is the main fender, a flap or another related part. The category groups these items together without making their supplied contents equivalent.

Does a fender listing supply both sides?

Check the exact contents and position information. A picture showing more than one area of the vehicle does not establish that both sides, or front and rear bodywork, are supplied.

Can I select a fender by colour first?

Confirm the application and position first, then compare the stated finish. Colour names alone do not establish fit or guarantee an exact match to the bodywork already on your vehicle.

Will the existing fittings work with the replacement?

Check the replacement’s mounting information and any instructions about retained or separately required fittings. Do not assume that a new panel includes hardware or accepts every fitting from the old one.

Compare the complete model, year and part number before choosing a part.
