Quad bike radiator caps

Choose a radiator cap by the cooling system's specified pressure rating and the correct fit for its filler neck. Check the exact application and part reference before considering extras such as a temperature display or a different finish.

Match the cap to the cooling system

Use the vehicle manufacturer's requirement and the existing radiator's specification to identify the correct replacement. Compare the pressure rating and cap fit, including any application notes. If the radiator has been changed, confirm the requirements of the installed assembly rather than relying on the vehicle model alone.

Keep the cap distinct from related cooling parts

Confirm whether you need the radiator pressure cap or a cap for a separate reservoir. Browse radiators for radiator-area components and radiator hoses and fittings for related connections. Match each part separately; buying several cooling parts together does not establish their compatibility.

Is a higher-pressure cap automatically a better choice?

No. Select the pressure rating approved for the cooling system. A higher-pressure label does not establish suitability for your machine or make it an appropriate replacement for the specified cap. Resolve any uncertainty against the vehicle and component instructions before ordering.

Will a cap fit if it looks the same as the old one?

Appearance is only a starting point. Compare the part reference, pressure specification and listed application, and confirm the filler-neck fit. Do not assume that a similar diameter or handle shape makes two caps interchangeable.

Does a temperature display change the fitment checks?

The cap still needs the correct pressure specification and filler-neck fit. Check the dimensions and available clearance stated for the chosen item as well as its application. Treat the display as an additional feature after confirming those requirements.

Can a replacement cap be chosen to cure coolant loss?

Establish the cause of the coolant loss before selecting a part. Follow the machine's service information or have the system assessed by a qualified person; changing the cap rating is not a diagnosis. If replacement fluid is required, select coolant to the machine's specification.
