Choose the component group

Browse ignition parts for CDI boxes and ignition modules, or ignition coils for the listed coil types and kits. Use spark plugs when replacing the plug itself. Leads and caps have their own category in the Browse menu, so these can be compared separately.

Match the system as well as the vehicle

Keep the full model, year and variant with the component reference. For a module or coil, check the manufacturer’s stated ignition-system requirements and connections. An aftermarket ignition or replacement engine needs identifying in its own right; the original vehicle application may not describe the equipment now fitted.

Are a CDI box and an ignition coil the same part?

They are different component types. Use the exact description and reference to identify which is required, and check any kit contents rather than assuming a module listing includes a coil.

Can one CDI box suit any quad with the same engine size?

No. Select a CDI specified for the particular engine and ignition system. Engine size alone does not establish the required power supply, signal inputs or ignition characteristics.

Should I buy all the ignition components together?

Base the order on the identified parts required for the work. Where a manufacturer specifies a matched kit or accompanying components, follow that exact requirement; the category itself does not establish a need to replace every ignition part.

Can I choose a spark plug by its thread size alone?

Use the plug reference specified for the engine and its application. Thread size is only one attribute and does not establish a complete replacement match. Keep the full plug code when comparing alternatives.

Compare the complete model, year and part number before choosing a part.
