Separate the main unit from its service parts
Use shock absorbers for shock units, shock springs for springs and spring accessories, and shock parts for mounting and service components. The other suspension groups separate A-arms, swingarms, lift kits and fork seals so that you can start with the relevant assembly.
Match the position and fitted suspension
Record the full vehicle model, year and variant, then check front or rear and upper or lower where specified. If an arm or shock has been changed, use its manufacturer and reference as well as the vehicle details. Check the stated application and kit coverage before treating similar-looking parts as alternatives.
Is a shock spring a complete shock absorber?
No. A spring is a separate component. Check whether a listing describes a spring, a shock unit or another accessory, and confirm the supplied contents before planning the repair.
Does a suspension repair kit cover the whole vehicle?
Do not assume it does. A kit may be described for a particular assembly or position; check its stated coverage and quantities to establish whether additional parts are required.
Are fork seals used on every quad suspension?
Choose fork seals only for the fork assembly identified in the application. The category’s position under Suspension does not mean those seals suit a shock absorber, arm pivot or every vehicle shown elsewhere in the range.
Are dump-box supports part of the suspension?
They are a separate component group for the tipping load box. When the part you need is attached to that box, identify its support reference rather than choosing a suspension shock by appearance.
Compare the complete model, year and part number before choosing a part.
